A song by singer-songwriter Adrian Ventura inspired by the words and story of Sophie Scholl, a German student and anti-Nazi political activist, active within the White Rose non-violent resistance group in Nazi Germany.
For her work and activism, she was convicted of high treason by Hitler’s regime after having been found distributing anti-war leaflets with her brother, Hans.
As a result, she was executed by guillotine at the age of just 21.
