All our worries leave them behind...

MY STORY

I was born and raised in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, brought up by parents with impeccable musical taste.

Not every kid gets to grow up on Queen, The Beatles, Free… From this I grew to love rock music and dreamed of writing and playing my own.

I got to learn instruments and sing in choirs, but from high-school I developed a crippling fear of singing in public. There was something about having the highest voice in the whole school that put me off it…

Moving to the UK when I was 16, following the encouragement of good friends, I taught myself to play guitar, and re-taught myself how to sing.

It was in Florence, Italy where I had my first opportunity to play live.  I sucked.  There is video evidence of this somewhere…

Since then, I’ve honed my live show into something fierce, and am now writing songs that go with it, inspired by my idols Freddie Mercury, Tracy Chapman, Oliver Mtukudzi, and Sublime’s Bradley Nowells.
